There’s a variety of good restaurant options in Columbia near campus. Whether it’s early morning on the way to class, a snack break in between study sessions, or a late-night meal that you’re in search of, we have a few favorites to recommend for students. Check out these tasty and reasonably priced restaurants near The University of Missouri!

Broadway Diner

22 S. Fourth St., Columbia, MO 65201

We love the comfort food of a good diner meal, and the Broadway Diner is one of our favorites. They’re open 24 hours from Wednesday to Saturday, so you can stop by almost any time to grab a bite. Plus, they source much of their quality ingredients locally, from producers such as Patchwork Family Farms pork, Bartholomew Beef, and Stanton Brothers Eggs.

El Rancho

1014 E. Broadway, Columbia, MO 65201

If you’re looking for good Mexican food in Columbia, one of our favorites is El Rancho. The owner, Faustino Vasquez, came to the U.S. from El Ranchito, Mexico, and they make some of our favorite dishes. They have everything, including nachos, burritos, fajitas, and enchiladas. We like the steak nachos, or you can grab a quick burrito between classes. They have lunch specials and dinner specials, and they even stay open until 3 a.m. if you need a bite after a night on the town!

Campus Bar & Grill

304 S. Ninth St., Suite 100, Columbia, MO 65201

Right across from the university is Campus Bar & Grill. It’s one of our favorite spots to watch sports in Columbia because they have plenty of big screens and great food and drink specials. Check out their happy hour, which is named “The Best in Town Year Round”. We like to order the wings while catching a game with a group of friends. They also have all kinds of good bar food, such as sandwiches, burgers, and wraps.
